Hillsboro Texas Roadside Museum

We journeyed on down the town, and stumbled upon the cutest building, as we explored the building the garage door's were opened, and had amazing cars inside, we walked in and looked around.  We could not find anyone, so we enjoyed seeing the cars in the garage, way cool display's and Automobiles.  As we wondered around we came into the main room of the museum, and a gentleman was eating his lunch, so we asked him about this amazing place, it was his personal museum, way cool.  Lots of memorabilia and lots of history.  Fun place.

Big Bopper's Casket
In 1959 Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and Jay Richardson (Big Bopper)(Chantilly Lace) died in
a plane crash.  In 2007 Richardson's son had his fathers body exhumed to put to rest rumors that he had initially lived through the crash or that he actually died from a gun shot.  By law the body had to be moved into a new casket.

Bob's Big Boy

This is Caroll Estes, he rebuilds Custom Cars and collects memorabilia from the 40's and 50's.
Standing in his drug store!
This item in the middle is a cheese press from 1700's
and the smaller one on the left is an apple press.

Fun place with lots and lots of memories!
